Federal Government announces partnership with Healthy Minds

Federal Government funds Healthy Minds trial in 2019

Federal Health Minister Greg Hunt has announced $210,000 of funding to support a trial of the Healthy Minds program in 10 government schools in 2019.

This announcement reflects an investment in preventive mental health strategy during the higher-risk phase of adolescence.

The Healthy Minds program is a leading prevention and psychological skills training program, which involves eight weekly presentations to Year 8 students plus classroom lessons, as well as parent and teacher training.
